In a tragic incident on the outskirts of Milan, a man was found dead inside a truck that caught fire on Via Toffetti, near the Santa Giulia district.

The fire broke out around 9:30 PM on December 8, 2024. Initial investigations suggest that the blaze may have been triggered by the truck's batteries, although this is yet to be confirmed.

Firefighters arrived swiftly but were unable to save the driver, whose identity remains unknown.

The truck, belonging to a logistics company, was parked legally when it was engulfed in flames.

Police and fire officials are working to determine the cause of the fire, with current evidence pointing towards an accidental origin.
