Gustavo Rodriguez, father of the famous showgirl Belén, was severely injured in a warehouse fire in Gallarate, Italy.

The fire broke out in a section of the building on Via Cappuccini, engulfing Rodriguez, who suffered burns to his face and upper limbs.

Initially treated at a local hospital, he was later transferred to the Niguarda Hospital in Milan for further care.

The 65-year-old, who had moved to Italy to reunite with his family, was using the warehouse as a storage space.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with local authorities conducting a thorough examination of the site.

Rodriguez, known for his brief stint on the reality show 'L’Isola dei Famosi,' is recovering from second-degree burns covering 10% of his body.
