A tragic car accident occurred in Chinatown, Milan, on August 1, 2024, claiming the lives of a Chinese couple, aged 58 and 59. The incident happened around 8 PM when the husband, believed to have suffered a medical emergency while driving, lost control of their black Porsche Cayenne.

The vehicle veered off course, hitting parked cars and crashing into the storefront of a record shop at the intersection of Via Sarpi and Via Aleardi.

Emergency services quickly arrived, but both the driver, Jingcong Shu, and his wife, Alfen Xu, were pronounced dead shortly after being transported to local hospitals.
