In a major crackdown, Milan police have arrested ten young individuals, aged 18 to 25, over a series of violent robberies across the city.

The suspects, mostly foreign nationals, targeted victims in metro stations and public areas.

One notable incident involved a 35-year-old man who was pushed down stairs and robbed of his gold chain at the Cimiano metro station, leaving him with a fractured leg.

Surveillance footage and swift police action led to the identification and arrest of the culprits, some of whom were armed with knives and pepper spray.

Additional arrests were made in connection with other robberies, including attacks on public buses and streets.

Authorities continue to intensify efforts to combat rising street crimes in Milan.
