In a significant crackdown, Milan's law enforcement has dismantled the leadership of the notorious football fan groups of Inter and Milan.
This unprecedented operation led to the arrest of 19 individuals, including key figures from both clubs' fan bases.
The investigation revealed a decade-long non-aggression pact between the groups, facilitating illegal activities such as ticket scalping, parking, and catering services at San Siro stadium.
The charges include organized crime, extortion, and violent assaults.
Among those arrested are Andrea Beretta, already imprisoned for the murder of Antonio Bellocco, and Luca Lucci, a known narcotics trafficker.
This operation marks a major blow to organized crime within Italy's football culture.
