Italy is experiencing a significant travel surge as nearly ten million Italians embark on journeys for the All Saints' Day holiday.

This long weekend, known as the Ponte di Ognissanti, sees a remarkable 74% of available accommodations booked, with a total of 4.5 million overnight stays expected.

Central Italy leads with an 80% occupancy rate, driven by popular destinations like Umbria and Tuscany.

Meanwhile, agritourism is thriving, with over half a million visitors anticipated.

The trend reflects a broader increase in tourism, with a 2.5% rise in overnight stays this year, fueled by a growing foreign demand.

Cities like Lucca, Rome, and Florence top the list of preferred destinations, showcasing Italy's enduring appeal.
