A tragic fire in Terni claimed the lives of an 87-year-old woman and her 60-year-old son on January 1st.

The victims, identified as Anna Laoreti and Mauro Broccucci, were found in their apartment on Via XX Settembre.

Their family dog also perished in the blaze.

Emergency responders, including firefighters, police, and medical teams, arrived at the scene, but it was too late to save them.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire, which may have started hours before the victims were discovered.
