In a nationwide operation, Italian police have arrested 12 individuals linked to the neo-Nazi and supremacist group known as "Werwolf Division.
" The group faces charges of terrorism, propaganda, and incitement to violence based on racial, ethnic, and religious discrimination, as well as illegal firearm possession.
The operation, coordinated by the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate, involved 13 additional home searches.
The arrests were sanctioned by the Bologna court following a request from the local prosecutor's office.
The "Werwolf Division" draws its name from a Nazi resistance group led by Heinrich Himmler during World War II, previously investigated in May 2023 for organizing violent acts through a Telegram network.
