Italy is bracing for a significant weather shift as an Arctic air mass sweeps across the country this weekend.
Starting Saturday, the cold front will bring strong winds, heavy rain, and snow, particularly affecting the northern and central regions.
Winds could reach up to 100 km/h, causing severe coastal storms with waves up to 4 meters high.
Snowfall is expected in the Alps and Apennines, with snow levels dropping to 600 meters in the north and 1000 meters in the center.
The cold will be intensified by the wind chill effect, making temperatures feel even lower.
The stormy conditions are expected to persist into Monday, especially in southern Italy.
