Gabriele Mainetti, a 37-year-old hunter from Vobarno, Brescia, tragically lost his life in a hunting accident.

Mainetti, known for his passion for hunting, went out for a boar hunt on Thursday, a day when hunting is permitted.

His family grew concerned when he did not return home at his usual time.

The following morning, Mainetti was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, near the Agna stream in Degagna.

Investigators believe he accidentally discharged his own rifle after slipping.

The incident has deeply affected his family, friends, and the local community, leaving behind his wife and two children.

Authorities continue to investigate, ruling out foul play or suicide.
