Tensions between Israel and Lebanon have intensified following recent incidents involving Israeli forces and UN peacekeepers.
Two Sri Lankan UNIFIL soldiers were injured, one critically, after Israeli forces allegedly targeted peacekeeping bases in southern Lebanon.
This follows similar incidents involving Indonesian soldiers.
The UN has condemned these actions, urging Israel to respect international law.
Diplomatic efforts are underway, with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati proposing a ceasefire and the withdrawal of Hezbollah forces from the border.
Meanwhile, Israel insists its actions were defensive against Hezbollah operatives.
The situation remains volatile, with international calls for restraint and dialogue.
