A new university hub has opened in Caivano, near Naples, as part of a government initiative to boost education and job opportunities in the region.
The facility, supported by €6 million in government funding, hosts two universities, Parthenope and Vanvitelli, offering courses in Sports Science and Nursing.
The campus features modern amenities, including green spaces, a study area, and a 'Book-bar,' with plans for an auditorium underway.
Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, emphasized the importance of this "team effort" and called the project a model for future educational initiatives.
The hub aims to provide students with practical skills for immediate employment, offering a "life-changing alternative" for local youth.
Additional programs, such as monument restoration and tech-driven agriculture, are also planned to further enhance opportunities.
