Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni celebrated her 48th birthday in Abu Dhabi during the Sustainability Week, where a significant energy partnership was announced.

Alongside Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and UAE's Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Meloni unveiled a tripartite agreement to develop a clean energy project.

This initiative includes a submarine cable connecting Albania and Italy to export renewable energy.

Rama, referring to Meloni as his "sister," gifted her a scarf made by an Italian artisan who became an Albanian citizen.

The collaboration highlights growing ties between the nations, despite criticism from opposition parties.
