Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has emphasized the importance of her proposed premier reform, which she believes will strengthen Italy's governance.
In a social media video, Meloni highlighted that the reform aims to give citizens more power in choosing their leaders and ensure governments have the time to fulfill their mandates.
She celebrated her government’s stability, now ranked as the fifth longest-lasting in Italy’s republican history, a rare achievement in a country with 68 governments in 79 years.
While the reform is progressing in Parliament, it faces delays and skepticism about its feasibility.
Meloni remains determined, stating that stable institutions are key to building a stronger and more competitive Italy.
