A five-year-old boy went missing while skiing with his father on the slopes of Verenetta in Asiago, Italy.

The child, who had continued skiing after his father stopped, disappeared around 3:30 PM, sparking a massive search operation.

Over 50 rescuers, including firefighters, forest rangers, and volunteers, scoured the area with helicopters, drones, and sniffer dogs.

The boy was found cold but unharmed at 6:40 PM in a wooded area near the Roana lake trail, still wearing his skis.

The community celebrated as the boy was reunited with his father amidst applause.
