A series of landslides near Livigno, Italy, has trapped tourists in tunnels leading to Switzerland.
The incident occurred after heavy rainfall, causing thousands of cubic meters of debris to block both ends of the Gallo Tunnel.
Emergency services are working to rescue stranded motorists and motorcyclists, with at least nine people already saved.
Firefighters are using inflatable boats on Lake Livigno to transport vehicles to safety.
While no injuries have been reported, authorities are investigating the possibility of missing persons.
