Journalist Assaulted by Far-Right Militants

Andrea Joly, a journalist for La Stampa, was assaulted outside the Asso di Bastoni club in Turin late Saturday night.

Joly was filming a gathering of far-right militants when he was approached and questioned by several individuals who demanded to know if he was one of them.

After he attempted to explain himself, the situation escalated, leading to physical aggression.

Joly was threatened, kicked, and ultimately fell to the ground, where he was further attacked.

He later sought medical attention for his injuries.

Authorities have identified two suspects linked to Casapound, and investigations are ongoing.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from political leaders and journalist organizations, highlighting concerns over rising violence against the press in Italy.
