A troubling trend has emerged around the iconic Faraglioni rocks of Capri, where tourists and influencers are increasingly ignoring navigation laws.

Despite a strict ban on passing through the rocks, videos have surfaced showing boats speeding through the area, with one recent TikTok clip capturing a motorboat racing between the formations.

The local authorities, led by Prefect Michele di Bari, have responded by intensifying patrols to enforce the law, which mandates a 100-meter distance from the rocks to protect the environment.

Three skippers have already faced fines for their reckless behavior.

The situation has raised concerns about safety and environmental protection, prompting further investigations by the Coast Guard and local maritime authorities.
