Federica Brignone is edging closer to her second overall World Cup title after securing third place in the Super-G at La Thuile, Italy.

This result extended her lead over Switzerland’s Lara Gut-Behrami to 332 points in the overall standings.

Brignone needs a 400-point margin to clinch the title, which could happen in the next Super-G, weather permitting.

Despite challenging conditions on the course, including treacherous snow and visibility issues, Brignone managed to stay competitive.

If the upcoming race is canceled due to bad weather, the decision will move to the finals in Sun Valley.

Brignone remains focused, saying she’s prioritizing her performance over the numbers.
