A wildfire erupted just beyond the residential area of Pontemazzori, quickly spreading to Montemagno.

Firefighters have managed to contain the blaze, with flames now only near the upper part of the road leading to Montemagno along the provincial highway.

Authorities are awaiting a Canadair aircraft to douse the affected area with more water.

Camaiore's Mayor, Marcello Pierucci, reassured residents near the fire's edge, stating that all law enforcement agencies are on high alert.

The situation remains under control, with efforts focused on preventing further spread of the fire.
