A tragic car accident occurred in Mortizzuolo, a district of Mirandola, Modena, early Sunday morning, claiming the life of 19-year-old Adam Cattabriga.

The young man, originally from Poggio Renatico in Ferrara, was driving a Toyota Yaris when it collided head-on with a BMW.

Emergency services, including ambulances and a helicopter, rushed to the scene, but Cattabriga succumbed to his injuries at the site of the crash.

Three other passengers in the Yaris and the 26-year-old driver of the BMW sustained injuries but are not in life-threatening condition.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident, which took place shortly after 3 AM.

Cattabriga, who worked at a bar in Finale Emilia, leaves behind his mother and a father who resides in Egypt.
