A tragic accident claimed the life of a 20-year-old from Busto Arsizio, Lombardy, while on vacation in Torre Santa Sabina, a coastal area of Carovigno in Brindisi, Italy.

The young man was reportedly ejected from the back seat of a moving Opel Corsa when the car door unexpectedly opened, causing him to fall onto the asphalt and suffer fatal head injuries.

Despite immediate efforts by emergency responders, the young man could not be revived.

The incident occurred around 3:30 AM, and the car has since been seized by authorities for investigation.

Friends of the victim, who witnessed the accident, have been questioned by the police as part of the ongoing investigation.

The Brindisi Prosecutor's Office has opened a case to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event, considering possibilities ranging from a freak accident to a dangerous prank.
