A tragic road accident claimed the life of 26-year-old Nicolas Bartolini on Sunday, August 11, in Misano Adriatico, Rimini.

The incident occurred around 8:30 PM on the Statale 16, as Bartolini was riding his motorcycle with his 19-year-old girlfriend, returning home to Saludecio after a day at the beach.

Initial investigations suggest that Bartolini's motorcycle collided head-on with a Dacia Sandero, driven by a woman now under investigation for vehicular manslaughter.

The impact caused the motorcycle to crash into a second vehicle, an Audi Q2, resulting in Bartolini's immediate death.

His girlfriend was severely injured and is hospitalized in critical condition.
