A tragic accident claimed the life of a four-year-old boy in Acquasanta Terme, a town in the province of Ascoli Piceno, Italy.

The incident occurred when the child, who was in a garage with his father nearby, accidentally pulled a container filled with heavy metal materials from a shelf.

The container fell on him, causing fatal injuries to his chest.

Emergency services, including an ambulance and a helicopter, responded swiftly to the scene.

Despite their efforts, which included two hours of resuscitation attempts, the boy could not be saved.

Local authorities, including the police and a magistrate, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
