A tragic incident occurred at the Alpe del Nevegal, a popular car racing event in Belluno, where a van with a trailer overturned, resulting in one death and another serious injury.

The accident happened shortly after 3:30 PM, as volunteers were clearing safety equipment after the race had concluded.

Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle lost control while navigating a curve, leading to the trailer crushing those on board.

A 41-year-old man from Belluno died instantly, while a 39-year-old man was airlifted to San Martino Hospital in critical condition.

Emergency services, including ambulances and firefighters, quickly responded to the scene.
