In a troubling incident in Pontevigodarzere, near Padua, a couple who rented a freshly renovated apartment for a short stay refused to leave after their booking ended.
Initially appearing as regular tourists, they soon brought in numerous family members, turning the property into a hub of activity.
Despite police intervention, the couple re-entered the apartment by force, illegally connecting to utilities and causing distress among neighbors.
The situation has escalated, with the property owner and residents expressing frustration over the lack of effective legal recourse.
Authorities have been notified, but the resolution remains pending, highlighting challenges in managing unauthorized occupations.
