The Humanitas hospital in Rozzano, Milan, has been recognized as the top hospital in Italy for the third consecutive year, alongside the public hospitals of Ancona and Careggi in Florence.

This accolade comes from the National Outcomes Program (Pne) by Agenas, which evaluated 1,363 hospitals across Italy.

The program assesses hospitals on effectiveness, safety, appropriateness, and quality of care, aiming to drive improvements in healthcare services.

Humanitas excelled in all eight clinical areas analyzed, including cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, and oncological surgery.

The initiative is not about awarding prizes but about encouraging better healthcare standards nationwide.
