Tensions are high in Rome as fans gather for the highly anticipated Roma-Lazio derby, considered the most risky match of the season.
Despite the game starting at 8:45 PM, supporters began assembling outside the Stadio Olimpico early in the morning.
In the afternoon, police used water cannons to disperse Roma fans gathered near the obelisk, a traditional meeting spot.
Meanwhile, Lazio Ultras organized a march near the stadium, with around 100 hooded individuals chanting for their team.
The group moved from Ponte Milvio to Curva Nord, launching firecrackers at police and journalists along the way.
Authorities remain on high alert to prevent further clashes.
