The Italian Senate has approved the fiscal decree, securing the government's confidence with 100 votes in favor, 46 against, and one abstention.

This decree, linked to the budget law, now moves to the Chamber of Deputies for final approval.

Key features include the reopening of the biennial preventive agreement terms until December 12 and an expanded eligibility for the 'Christmas Bonus.

' The decree also allows for the deferral and installment payment of November's tax advance.

Additionally, the funding for political parties through the "2 per mille" has been increased by 4.6 million euros.

Despite the approval, tensions remain high within the majority coalition, particularly between the Lega and Forza Italia, over various amendments and policy directions.
