In a decisive move for public safety, Naples' Mayor Gaetano Manfredi has issued immediate evacuation orders for the Vela Gialla and Vela Rossa towers in Scampia.

This action follows the tragic collapse of a balcony in the Vela Celeste in July, which resulted in three fatalities and several injuries.

The evacuation affects 54 families, who must vacate their homes due to structural risks.
