A 62-year-old man was arrested after causing chaos in the emergency room of San Leonardo Hospital in Castellammare di Stabia.

The incident occurred on the night of August 15th when the man, dissatisfied with the medical care provided to his 19-year-old daughter for a suspected bronchitis, resorted to violence.

Armed with a baseball bat, he smashed doors, desks, and cabinets, even striking the desk in the on-duty doctor's office.

The situation escalated as a security guard attempted to disarm him, resulting in a finger injury for the guard.

The police were called, and upon arrival, they managed to subdue and arrest the man, who is now in custody awaiting trial.

The outburst left 12 medical staff members in a state of anxiety, highlighting the pressures faced by healthcare workers in emergency settings.
