Northern Italy is bracing for heavy rainfall as an intense North Atlantic weather system moves across the region.
The Veneto area is expected to experience significant precipitation on October 1st and 2nd, with temperatures ranging from 13°C to 20°C.
Winds will be moderate, coming from the East-Northeast, with gusts up to 15 km/h.
Meanwhile, a broader weather disturbance is affecting the Centro-Nord, particularly between Tuscany and the Northwest, extending towards the Northeast.
This system, described as a 'Cut-Off' cyclone, is unpredictable and could bring over 100 mm of rain in 24 hours to the Triveneto area.
The South, however, will remain mostly sunny with temperatures soaring above 30°C.
The cyclone is expected to linger over Italy for several days, bringing widespread rain before clearing by the weekend.
