Giacomo Bozzoli's Maserati Found in Spain

Published: 2024-07-23

The Spanish police have recovered the Maserati Levante belonging to Giacomo Bozzoli, a 39-year-old man sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his uncle, Mario, in 2015. The vehicle was found parked in a secondary street in Marbella, where Bozzoli had fled with his partner and son before his arrest.

He had left Italy on June 24, just days before the Supreme Court confirmed his life sentence.

At the time of his arrest on July 11, Bozzoli was found hiding in his villa near Lake Garda, with €50,000 in cash, which is now believed not to be from the sale of the Maserati.

Investigators are continuing to explore the circumstances surrounding his ten days of evasion from justice, as they seek to understand any potential accomplices in his flight.
