A devastating explosion followed by a fire erupted at the Alipar Sas plastics and fiberglass factory in Fiscaglia, near Ferrara, Italy.

The incident, which occurred around 7:30 AM on Wednesday, left five workers injured, with two in critical condition.

Emergency services, including firefighters, police, and medical teams, rushed to the scene.

Local authorities evacuated nearby homes and advised residents of Ostellato to stay indoors due to concerns over toxic fumes.

The fire, believed to have started from an acetylene cylinder explosion, spread rapidly through the small factory containing flammable materials.
